COMMUNITY UPDATE: CARRIE’S CORNER 2025 IS A GO!
As some of. you who are members of our facebook group may be aware, we almost had to pause our season this year due to unforseen personal circumstances that have severely limited our resources: both financial and time/energy-wise.
As a response to a request for help to make it happen, we received overwhelming support from our facebook community. We were able to secure enough in donations to get us started and pay for begging-of-year venue upkeep and some necessary upgrades Here is a recap:
- We offered up 5 season passes for two that will be taken from our guest list allotment / not affect band $$
- We have received some additional financial support
- We have gotten donations of firewood and potentially landscaping resources (e.g. mulch for yard)
- We have several volounteers who have offered to help with venue maintenance and staffing on show days.
We are SO GRATEFUL for the support.
IF YOU WOULD STILL LIKE TO SUPPORT (and we can certainly use it), feel free to DM. A few extra dollars would definitely help but in lieu of that, things like
-Additoinal funds to help pay for band hospitality and venue supplies
-Someone with a chainsaw or splitter who can help split up donated firewood
And of course would love any additional venue labor / help. I will send out a google sign-up sheet in the coming weeks to those who have raised thier hand. If you are interested please let me know.
ADDITIONALLY – WE HAVE DECIDED TO OFFER UP ADDITIONAL SEASON PASSES DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND (100% of that $$ goes to the bands), since our shows often sell out. We have 5 shows this year. A season pass for 1 is $150 and for 2 is $300.
Reserved seating is also on offer as well and you may begin making general reservations for all shows noted below while we take the time to update our website and post event invites. Please email [email protected] or reply to this email to inquire about reservations or offer support.
